Help create joy, connection, and belonging for children and families.

Barb's daughter Lesley has been a long time volunteer with this wonderful organization, and Barb truly loved hearing about the amazing experiences that Lesley had while being at camp, whether in city, day camp or the overnights.  It just seemed fitting that we honour Barb's name by raising funds for Campfire Circle.

A childhood cancer or serious illness diagnosis can change everything for a child and their family. Time once spent with friends, at school, or participating in favourite activities is often replaced by treatments, hospital visits, and uncertainty.

Campfire Circle helps fill that gap by creating opportunities for children and families to experience joy, connection, and belonging when they need it most. Through programs in hospitals, communities, online, and at medically supported overnight camps, we create spaces where children can build confidence, form friendships, and simply enjoy being kids—while families find support from others who understand their journey.

At Campfire Circle, healing through happiness is more than a philosophy—it's at the heart of everything we do. No family should face childhood cancer or serious illness alone, which is why there's always room for one more in the circle.

Your support helps ensure more than 6,300 campers across Ontario can access life-changing Campfire Circle programs each year, at no cost to them, when they need it the most.

Thank you,

Tom McAlister, Tom McAlister, Lesley Thompson and the rest of Barb's extended family and friends.
