Campfire Circle has offered healing through happiness for thousands of kids and families affected by childhood cancer since 1983. It’s where kids can be kids, and families can be families—engaging in camp-inspired community, in-hospital, and overnight camp programs, at no cost to them. As a privately funded organization, Campfire Circle makes thousands of life-changing experiences possible for Campers throughout the year, all across Ontario. Clarkson Cancer Drive
Clarkson Secondary School has held our annual Cancer Drive for 49 years.
Our Cancer Drive story started in 1974 when both a teacher and student at Clarkson were diagnosed with cancer in the same school year. Since then, our Clarkson community has come together each year and have raised over $828,018 to date. All donations and and contributions go to Camp Fire Circle, to help in their mission to bring laughter and joy to kids and familles effected by childhood cancer.
Clarkson has made many traditions over the years when it comes to Cancer Drive. Throughout the week of Cancer Drive our students, staff and alumni participate in activities such as our annual Mud Run, Dodgeball Tournament, Chocolate Milk Chug Contest and Tricycle Racing.
This year, the Clarkson Cancer Drive will take place April 24 - 28th!
All students, teachers and other staff at Clarkson will be help host the 2023 Clarkson Cancer Drive this year. With every Homeroom class contributing to this massive event with their very own fundraising event because at Clarkson, WE DO IT FOR THE KIDS!
